If your question isn't here, send us a note at info@inspirebeachresort.com or call (705) 242-6999. We answer fast.

How do I book a cabin?

Pick a cabin on the Stay page and use the booking card to ask about your dates. Right now enquiries come straight to us by phone or email, and we reply with availability and a quote, usually the same day. We’re setting up direct online booking, and this page will say so the moment it is live.

What's the minimum stay?

Two nights. All cabins require a two-night minimum stay year-round.

What's your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 14 days before your stay. Inside 14 days, we charge 50% of the total reservation. Inside 48 hours, we charge for the full stay. We're flexible in real emergencies, so call us if something comes up.

Do all cabins have a hot tub?

Yes. Each cabin has its own private hot tub on its own deck. They run year-round and are temperature-controlled (kept hot in winter, warm in summer).

What's the difference between the three cabins?

The Beach is closest to the water with a nautical theme. Best for couples and small families. Sleeps up to 4.

The Vintage Hollywood has a vaulted ceiling and golden-era film aesthetic. The largest of the three. Sleeps up to 4.

The Rustic Lodge is the original. Reclaimed wood, wood-burning stove, classic cottage feel. Sleeps up to 4.

Are the cabins pet-friendly?

On request. We can usually accommodate one well-mannered dog per cabin with a $50/stay cleaning fee. Just flag it when you book or send us a note.

Can I bring my kids?

Inspire is mostly an adults’ retreat. We welcome guests aged 12 and over, and to keep the property quiet we’re not taking bookings with children under 12 right now. If you’re planning a family stay, reach out and we can talk you through what’s possible.

Can I host my own retreat at Inspire?

Yes. We work with hosts year-round. Reserve all three cabins for your group, plus the shared fire pit and dock. We coordinate the lodging, parking, and on-site logistics. You bring the programming. Reach out via the contact form or email us directly.

Do you host weddings?

Intimate weddings up to about 80 guests, yes. We can host the ceremony lakeside, the reception under a tent on the property, and provide overnight accommodation for the wedding party across all three cabins. We have preferred caterers in Bobcaygeon and Lindsay, or you can bring your own.

What about corporate offsites?

We host founder offsites and small-team retreats regularly. Buyouts work for groups of 8 to 12, with six private bedrooms across the three cabins. Wi-Fi is fast enough for a Zoom call if you need it. Meals and outdoor activities can be coordinated with our partners.

When do retreats run?

See the Retreats page for what's on the calendar. We typically host 6 to 10 hosted retreats per year, with private buyouts available the rest of the time.

What are the all-inclusive packages?

Five set packages, each of them two nights: micro weddings, corporate and team retreats, family and friends reunions, a girls’ getaway, and romantic getaways. Four of the five take exclusive or private use of the whole property. The romantic getaway is a single cabin for two. Compare all five.

What do the packages include?

The food, mostly. Every package has chef-prepared meals built in. The family and friends reunion and the corporate and team retreat cover every meal from arrival through to the last breakfast. The girls’ getaway and the romantic getaway have meals delivered to the cabins. Packages also include the covered dining tent, our coordination and set-up team, and the beachfront, the kayaks, the paddle boards and the fire pit. Each package page lists exactly what that one comes with.

What do the packages cost?

We quote per enquiry rather than publish a rate. Price moves with the season, the size of your group, and which add-ons you want, so one published number would be wrong for most of the year. Tell us your dates and your group size on the contact form and we’ll quote it.

Can I add things to a package?

Yes, and the same add-ons work on all five. Massage therapy and spa facials in your cabin. A wine tasting led by a sommelier. A personal trainer, or morning meditation on the beach. Private boat cruises at sunrise or after dinner. Extra meals and snacks as well. Add-ons are arranged with local suppliers and quoted with the package, so ask early.

What if none of the five fits?

Then we build it around you. We host one group at a time, so most of what is in a package is negotiable, and a private buyout with no set package is always an option. See Private Events or Retreats, or tell us what the weekend needs to be and we will quote it.

What is the Inspire Lodge?

The Inspire Lodge & Suites is a new four-season main lodge and a set of suites, breaking ground in spring 2026. It gives larger groups, weddings, and retreats an indoor home on the water, alongside the three cabins. See the latest on the build.

Can I book the Lodge yet?

Not yet. Construction starts spring 2026, and bookings open late 2026 or early 2027. Join our list to be first to book it for a retreat, wedding, or private event, and we'll send dates and pricing before they go public.

Will the Lodge change how cabin stays and retreats work?

No. The three cabins, the dock, the fire pit, and the water toys stay exactly as they are. The Lodge adds an indoor gathering space for larger groups and events. Cabin stays and hosted retreats run as normal throughout construction and after it opens.

How far is Inspire from Toronto?

Two hours up Highway 35. About 200 km. From Pearson airport, it's about 1h 45m. From Peterborough, 50 minutes.

Is there parking?

Yes, free on-site parking for each cabin. Plenty of room for additional vehicles for events and retreats.

Where's the closest grocery store?

Foodland in Coboconk, about a 5-minute drive. There's also a fantastic bakery on the main street, and Bobcaygeon (20 minutes) has a wider selection.
